Great Week for Jacksonville's Shannon Chase Monday, April 24th, 2017 There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Shannon Chase, the Jacksonville first baseman, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. Chase piled up 14 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs while hitting .538. So far this year Chase is batting .324 with 4 home runs. |
