RCL Votes Republic Bergeron Top Player Monday, April 24th, 2017 At the age of 27, Mike Bergeron might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The So Cal left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .406 batting average. For his efforts Bergeron collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 32 at-bats, 4 home runs and 12 RBIs last week in 7 games. For the season Bergeron has hit .357 with 9 home runs and 25 RBIs. He has played in 20 games and scored 16 times. |
