Díaz and Hunt Dealt Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 Earlier today, officials from the So Cal Republic and the Mile High Mustangs announced that they had finalized negotiations on a trade between the two teams. The deal will send 23-year-old minor league starting pitcher Daniel Díaz, 27-year-old reliever Stanley Richard and $3,194,827 in cash to Mile High in exchange for 24-year-old minor league first baseman Jake Hunt and 27-year-old minor league third baseman Lorenzo Barrón. Since joining the league, Díaz has compiled an ERA of 6.68 with a career record of 6-11. He has 122 strikeouts in 133.1 innings and has held opponents to a .297 batting average. |
