Roberto Clemente League Names Rookie of Month Saturday, October 1st, 2016 Bob Brown is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In September the Minnesota hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .442 average with 46 hits, 6 home runs and 22 RBIs. This year Brown is batting .364 with 59 hits, 9 home runs, 29 RBIs, 10 walks, .408 OBP and has scored 31 runs. |
