Leftwich Hitless, Streak Ends at 20 Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 Capitalists right fielder Joe Leftwich was one of the hottest hitters in baseball, coming into today's game against San Diego with a 20-game hitting streak. However, the Hops put a chill in his bat, at least for today, and held him hitless in 3 at-bats during the San Diego 3-1 triumph at Michigan & Trumball. For the year Leftwich has hit at a .322 clip with 63 RBIs, 27 home runs and 89 runs scored. |
