Hutchins Selected RCL Player of the Week Monday, August 15th, 2016 At the age of 29, Ron Hutchins might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The So Cal left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .522 batting average. For his efforts Hutchins collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs and 4 RBIs last week in 6 games. Hutchins is hitting at a .326 mark this season. His stats show 20 home runs, 82 RBIs and 67 runs scored. He has played 118 games for the Republic. |
