Eureka Hexed: No-Hit by Barrett Friday, June 24th, 2016 In a brilliant performance at The Nest, Las Vegas pitcher Rich Barrett entered an elite group today by tossing a no-hitter against the Eureka Hornets. Hurling a complete game he fanned 9 and walked 7 in the 5-0 victory. In the clubhouse, Barrett said, "I was getting my off-speed stuff over so they couldn't sit on the fastball. My guys made some nice plays behind me, too, and cut off several hits." This year Barrett has compiled a 6-6 mark with a 5.11 ERA in 15 starts. |
