RCL Star of the Week Honored Monday, June 13th, 2016 27-year-old Rich McFarland sent shock waves through Adult Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, McFarland made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 9 hits in 18 at-bats, 5 home runs and 9 RBI. Where the Minnesota Berserkers right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but McFarland certainly made his mark last week. Thus far this year McFarland has hit .522 with 5 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
