Thurman Munson League Announces #1 Player Monday, May 9th, 2016 Katsuhiko Yamamoto demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. The Las Vegas left fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .520 average (13-25) with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. In 31 games this year Yamamoto has posted a .405 average and put up these numbers: 14 home runs, 37 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
