Hayes Grabs RCL Top Pitcher Trophy Sunday, May 1st, 2016 Ben Hayes has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in April and stole away with the Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month award. The Barn Owls bullpen ace collected 7 saves and 17 strikeouts in 14.1 innings, holding the opposition to a .135 average and posting a 0.63 ERA and a 2-0 record. |
