Las Vegas Ace Wins Triple Crown Monday, October 5th, 2015 If Maurice Gould doesn't win the Cy Young Award this year, someone's going to call for a recount! Maurice wrapped up one of the rarest feats in baseball -- the pitching triple crown! He topped all pitchers in the Thurman Munson League in wins, strikeouts and ERA. In 32 starts, Gould lead the league with 22 wins, 291 strikeouts and a 2.07 ERA. His won-loss record was 22-6 for the year. |
