Raines Honored by Roberto Clemente League Monday, August 31st, 2015 So far in his young career, Tim Raines has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Roberto Clemente League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Montreal Bandits center fielder hit at a torrid .478 clip as he collected 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 10 runs scored. In his season totals Raines has 24 home runs and a .336 batting average. |
