RCL Awards Player of the Week Monday, August 24th, 2015 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Roberto Clemente League, but last week Clarence Wauchope of the Ann Arbor Barn Owls reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Wauchope rocked opposing pitching for a .348 average (8-23), 4 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. In his season totals Wauchope has 20 home runs and a .260 batting average. |
