Joe Lowry Hurt, Out 3 Weeks Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 The Bandits received bad news this morning. Joe Lowry will miss 3 weeks due to a strained oblique. He sustained the injury in the Montreal-Kansas City game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Lowry sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." Thus far this season Lowry has compiled a 1-1 record, made 18 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 19.2 innings and striking out 19. He has held the opposition to a .188 batting average with a 1.83 ERA. |
