Cardinals Chill Sterling's Hot Streak Wednesday, April 29th, 2015 Boston brought Terry Sterling's hitting spree to a screeching halt today in its 3-2 victory over The Georgia at St. Sebastian's Cathedral. The Cardinals mound staff snapped the 31-year-old catcher's hitting streak at 22 games. Sterling failed to get a hit in 3 at-bats to end it. Sterling is batting .329 this season in 20 games with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 25 hits in 76 at-bats. |
