Bombers, Outlaws Agree to Swap
Saturday, March 7th, 2015
BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the South Carolina Bombers and Nottinghamshire Outlaws has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 25-year-old reliever Glen Slaughter to Nottinghamshire in return for 21-year-old minor league catcher Melvin Smith and 23-year-old center fielder Dave Evans. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it.
In his career Slaughter has made 100 appearances with a 6-4 record and tossed 115 innings with 112 strikeouts. Batters have hit .324 against him, his lifetime ERA stands at 7.12 and he has accumulated 3 saves.
