Bussell Fashions Shutout Against Texas Saturday, July 5th, 2014 Rich Bussell of the Dallas Texans spun his magic on the Texas Gunners today. He blanked them 7-0 on 3 hits, registering 9 strikeouts and no walks. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Bussell said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, the Dallas skipper said, "We got solid pitching, good defense and we took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations. This was just a solid performance by everyone." This season Bussell has worked 117 innings with 151 strikeouts en route to a 6-5 record and a 3.46 ERA. |
