RCL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Sunday, June 1st, 2014 A veritable toddler to the Roberto Clemente League, Tim Raines just sewed up the Rookie of the Month trophy for May. Over the past month the 23-year-old center fielder for Montreal hit .327 with 36 hits, 3 home runs and 14 RBI. He also logged 12 walks and compiled a .400 on-base percentage. This year Raines is hitting at a .317 pace with 3 home runs and 16 RBIs. He has played in 29 games and scored 19 times. |
