Week's Top Performer Honored by RCL Monday, May 12th, 2014 Tom Becker is respected by most Washington Capitalists fans for his no-frills style of play. The 29-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .560 average (14-25) with 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this season Becker has put up a .410 batting average with 55 hits, 11 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
