RCL Star of the Week Chosen Monday, April 28th, 2014 So far in his young career, Peter Blanchard has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Roberto Clemente League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Minnesota Berserkers first baseman hit at a torrid .394 clip as he collected 13 hits in 33 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Blanchard is batting .406 with 7 home runs and 17 RBIs this season. |
