Vic Jennings out of Lineup 4-5 Months Saturday, October 19th, 2013 Vic Jennings at first refused to leave today's Eureka-Maple game after he suffered a concussion while making a defensive play. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Maple first baseman said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Jennings out of action for 4-5 months. In his 2013 season totals, Jennings has 28 home runs, .313 BA, .379 OBP, 95 RBIs and 95 runs scored. |
