Becker Joins Exclusive .400 Club Monday, September 30th, 2013 Add the name Tom Becker to the list of baseball players to hit .400 or better in a single season. The Montreal left fielder joined that elite group by hitting a jaw-dropping .412 this year. "To be mentioned among baseball's immortals," said Becker, "is beyond my wildest dreams." Becker's 225 hits included 30 doubles, 2 triples and 45 home runs. He also scored 118 runs and batted in 145. |
