RCL Names Best Player Monday, July 1st, 2013 At the age of 28, Luis García might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Dallas right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .483 batting average. For his efforts García collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 14 hits in 29 at-bats, 5 home runs and 13 RBIs last week in 6 games. For the year García is batting .292 with 9 home runs, 23 RBIs and 18 runs scored. |
