Anderson Holds Marauders Scoreless

Speaking after the game, the San Francisco manager said, "Brad Anderson had everything going for him. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement... he had it all... masterful."
Anderson held the Maple Marauders to 2 hits and fashioned a fine 5-0 shutout. He had no walks and 8 strikeouts in the game.
"We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," the Maple skipper told reporters.
This year Anderson has fashioned a 3-5 mark, 4.58 ERA and pitched 57 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .265 against him and he has logged 65 strikeouts.
