Rin Brings Home PL Batter of Month Honor Monday, October 1st, 2012 Soshu Rin is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Chiba Lotte left fielder joined that select company when the Pacific League announced the results of September's voting. Rin totaled 19 hits, 11 walks, 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and 12 runs scored last month to put together a .365 batting average and .476 on-base percentage. For the season Rin is batting .309 with 120 hits and 13 home runs. He has scored 75 times and batted in 61. |
