PL's Best Player Named Monday, September 3rd, 2012 Yoshihiro Inoue stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the Pacific League Player of the Week honors. The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham second baseman ripped opposing pitchers for 6 hits in 16 at-bats and 2 home runs. He put together a sizzling .375 batting average as he knocked in 5 runs and scored 2 times. Inoue is currently hitting at a .279 pace with 6 home runs and 47 RBIs. |
