CL Names Top Player of the Week Monday, July 9th, 2012 Hiroshima Toyo Carp fans are celebrating Shuncho Fujita's selection as Central League Player of the Week. Fujita put up some serious numbers over the past seven days as he cracked 7 hits in 16 at-bats. The 32-year-old center fielder hit .438, drove in 6 runs, scored 7 times and hit 1 home run.
