Pacific League Announces Best Starter Saturday, September 1st, 2018 The Pacific League scribes have selected August's Pitcher of the Month and have awarded the honor to Su-shun Zhong of Chiba Lotte. He was outstanding on the hill last month and has the numbers to prove it -- a 3-0 record. The Marines star performer made 3 starts with a 1.37 ERA and surrendered 20 hits in 19.2 innings. He struck out 22 and walked 5. This year Zhong has compiled a 8-0 record with a 2.87 ERA in 10 starts. |
