Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Starter Selected Best Pitcher Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 Over the past month Min Chen has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Pacific League. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters posted 3-0 mark and a 2.77 ERA. In 4 starts he tossed 26 innings, permitted 24 hits and fanned 18 batters.
