Kesiraju Crowned Top CL Hitter in July Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 When Arana Kesiraju stepped up to the plate in July, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Central League Batter of the Month award. The young Chunichi first baseman posted a .387 batting average with 12 home runs, 33 RBIs and scored 20 runs. Kesiraju also worked pitchers for 12 walks to post a .493 on-base percentage. This season Kesiraju is swinging the bat at a .392 rate with 38 hits in 97 at-bats. To date he has hit 16 home runs, scored 31 runs and driven in 48. |
