Dragons Taniguchi CL Hitter of the Week Monday, June 4th, 2018 So far in his young career, Sadahige Taniguchi has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Central League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 17-year-old Chunichi Dragons second baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 9 hits in 18 at-bats, 1 home run, 16 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
