Thuy: Big Hit in the Central League Monday, May 28th, 2018 A hot-hitting week got Kim-Hu Thuy the Central League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Yokohama shortstop slammed them for a .474 average, 9 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 6 runs. In the postgame press conference, Thuy shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." So far this year, Thuy is batting .389 with 9 home runs and 38 RBIs. |
