Week's Best Player Honored by PL Monday, April 16th, 2018 It was some kind of week for Yen-nien Sun of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .435 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Pacific League. Last week Sun went 10-23, chalked up 1 home run and 6 RBIs and scored 7 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. So far this year Sun is batting .472 with 4 home runs. |
