CL Star of the Week Announced Monday, April 2nd, 2018 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Central League, but last week Jorge Rodríguez of the Chunichi Dragons reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Rodríguez rocked opposing pitching for a .435 average (10-23), 1 home run and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. Presently Rodríguez is hitting .316 with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. He has played in 19 games and scored 18 times. |
