PL Votes Hawks Onishi Top Player Monday, June 11th, 2012 It was some kind of week for Mabuchi Onishi of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .350 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Pacific League. Last week Onishi went 7-20, chalked up 2 home runs and 5 RBIs and scored 2 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. This season Onishi is hitting .276 with 4 home runs. |
