Hit Streak Now at 25 for Im Saturday, March 24th, 2018 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Se-tol Im did it again. He bashed 2 hits in today's game and for the last 25 games in a row has collected at least one hit. The 17-year-old Tohoku Rakuten shortstop extended his streak as the Golden Eagles beat the Saitama Seibu Lions 14-2 at Field of the Chariots. Se-tol Im walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Keng-chi Xun in the 8th and grounded out in the 8th. This season Im is swinging the bat at a .373 pace. He has hit 1 home run and scored 10 times, while driving in 11. His on-base percentage is .422 and he has played in 13 games. |
