McMahon Smacks 5 Hits for Giants Friday, September 8th, 2017 Yomiuri third baseman Dustin McMahon could do no wrong in today's 23-4 win over the Lions as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Lions said to the press corps after the game. McMahon agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Dustin McMahon walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 8th. So far this season McMahon is hitting .318 with 3 home runs. |
