Satoshi Matsuoka Winner in May Thursday, June 1st, 2017 May's Pacific League Batter of the Month trophy was claimed by third baseman Satoshi Matsuoka of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. Last month he compiled a .468 batting average with 4 home runs, 21 RBIs, 24 runs scored and a .603 on-base percentage. This season Matsuoka is batting .431 with 14 home runs.
