Morita Bags CL Best Player Award Monday, May 15th, 2017 Kazuhiro Morita of Yomiuri was a smashing success this week, winning the Player of the Week Award in the Central League. He hit everything the pitchers threw at him, hammering them for a .500 batting average, going 6 for 12 with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and scoring 5 times. This year Morita has hit at a .341 clip with 28 hits, 12 home runs, 27 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
