CL's Top Hitter Selected Monday, May 1st, 2017 Motoyasu Matsushita, the Yomiuri Giants left fielder, certainly made his name known to Central League hurlers over the last month. He consistently introduced himself with hit after hit and came away with April's Central League Batter of the Month award. He slashed and bashed his way to a .425 batting average while tallying up 9 home runs, 26 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He also worked CL pitchers for 8 walks and a .494 on-base percentage. |
