Ishii Selected Player of the Week Monday, April 17th, 2017 The Central League made it official today: Masatake Ishii is the Player of the Week. He really sparkled on the diamond this week with a .579 average to take home the trophy. The Yomiuri right fielder went 11-19, drove in 9 runs, scored 5 times and hit 3 home runs. So far this year Ishii has 10 home runs and a .375 batting average. |
