ORIX's Hayashi Out 4-5 Months Saturday, April 8th, 2017 Yataro Hayashi had to leave the Buffaloes game against Tohoku Rakuten after suffering a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. He will be out of the lineup at least 4-5 months. He told reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong." To this point in the season he has had no saves. Hayashi has made 14 relief appearances, tossed 18.1 innings and struck out 22 with a record of no wins and no losses. |
