Morimoto on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, April 3rd, 2017 A red-hot bat made Kaoru Morimoto the obvious choice for this week's Pacific League Player of the Week. The Tohoku Rakuten left fielder laid down some numbers that no one else could match, including a .467 average on 7 hits in 15 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs, and 6 runs scored. Say no more ... he got the award. Morimoto currently has a .375 batting average with 21 hits, 6 homers, 16 RBIs, 16 runs scored and a .462 OBP. |
