Yamamoto Rips Chiba Lotte for 5 Hits Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 The ORIX Buffaloes upended the Chiba Lotte Marines at Ballpark of Nasu College today in large part to third baseman Tsugahara Yamamoto, who had a smashing day with the bat -- he racked up 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and help propel the Buffaloes to a 22-10 victory. Tsugahara Yamamoto singled in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Noboru Takata in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th. |
