Next year Toshikasu Takahashi will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2016 Central League Cy Young Award. Takahashi made 28 starts this year, winning 14 and losing 5. He threw 182.1 innings, fanned 244, allowed 131 hits and 25 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .197 average as he logged an impressive 3.06 ERA. |
