Torrid September Gets Aoki PL #1 Batter Trophy Saturday, October 1st, 2016 Soseki Aoki put together a good September to earn the Pacific League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to ORIX officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Buffaloes catcher posted a .429 batting average with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This season Aoki has 14 home runs and a .367 batting average. |
