August's Premier Batter Announced Thursday, September 1st, 2016 It was a successful month for Naonobu Seki of Tokyo Yakult. He won the Central League Best Batter Trophy for August. Seki batted .383 average, hit 7 home runs, drove in 17 runs, scored 12 times and compiled a .464 on-base percentage. This year Seki has hit at a .315 clip with 46 RBIs, 13 home runs and 46 runs scored. |
