MR Yosuke Yano Hurt
Saturday, August 6th, 2016
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, Hawks reliever Yosuke Yano was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 9-10 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Fukuoka SoftBank skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.
To date this year Yano has saved 1 games while tossing 64.1 innings. He has a 6.16 ERA, fanned 72 batters and made 47 relief appearances.
