PL's #1 Batter Announced Monday, August 1st, 2016 July's Batter of the Month Award has been given out by the Pacific League. This month's trophy was presented to the Saitama Seibu right fielder, Kokei Sugimoto. He starred by hitting .321 with a .419 on-base percentage, totaled 17 hits in 53 at-bats, 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 19 runs. This season Sugimoto is hitting .285 with 23 home runs. |
