Ono Sizzles -- Smokes Lions for 5 Hits Sunday, July 10th, 2016 It was a super day at bat for Toshikasu Ono. He went to the plate 5 times and rapped out base hits 5 times. Nonetheless his Yokohama Bay Stars suffered a setback at the hands of the Saitama Seibu Lions. They dealt them a 11-9 loss. Toshikasu Ono singled in the 1st, walked in a run in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this year Ono has hit .370 with 8 home runs, 51 RBIs and 58 runs scored. |
